Stephanie is a qualified Birthlight ante-natal & post-natal yoga teacher and Doula (birth companion). She teaches a Thursday morning Mother and Baby yoga class in Kingston upon thames.
Stephanie's classes are informal and down-to-earth with genuine attention given to each individual in a relaxed and friendly environment. "Post-natally, I like to focus on toning and stretching the whole body to help everything find it's original place again. I also focus on strengthening the back and releasing the shoulders which get very tense from feeding and carrying your new baby."
In each class Stephanie always includes specific post-natal pelvic floor exercises which are crucial for getting back your posture & strength, helping to re-knit the abdominal muscles and alleviate stress incontinence.
You will leave the class feeling calmer, more like yourself again and have had some fun bonding time with your baby!
12th April - 31st May 2012

Please note: depending on space, it is sometimes possible to join after a course has already started so contact Stephanie to check availability first.
In order to give each individual enough attention, places are limited so we recommend you reserve your space asap to avoid disappointment. Please contact Stephanie to book.
Holistic Studio @ David Lloyd Kingston.
2nd Floor, The Rotunda,
Clarence Street,
Kingston upon thames,
KT1 1QJ.
David Lloyd is right opposite Kingston Rail Station, in the same building as the Odeon Cinema.
It is extremely easy to get to as there are many adjacent car parks and bus stations only a stone's throw away.
Once you get into the Rotunda, take the lift up to David Lloyd on the 2nd Floor. The receptionist will let you through the barriers and you can either leave you buggy tucked away in the cafe area or take it up to the studio which is one floor up. There is another little disabled lift by the stairs round the corner on your right but as there is only space for one buggy at a time, you may want to arrive early to avoid a traffic jam!
There is a changing room and a toilet available but you are also more than welcome to feed and change your baby at anytime during the class.
Yoga mats and blocks will be provided but please bring a towel (essential) and a cushion for your baby if possible.
Before or after the class you are very welcome to have a drink and a gossip at the cafe with the other mums.
(Please note this is a private class so you don't have to be a member to take part and all bookings must go through Stephanie NOT David Lloyd.)
"Stephanie radiates calm, both in her person and through her classes which have a wonderful informal and relaxed atmosphere. Stephanie's gentle encouragement and her obvious expertise are perfect when you've just had a baby and are getting to know your body again. Her classes have helped me to reconnect with myself and provide some invaluable 'me' time even though my baby is there and involved in the yoga too."
Suzy and baby James.
"Just a few minutes of 'no guilt' relaxation at the end of Stephanie's class are reason enough for a new mum and baby to embark and bond on the course!"
Dzen and baby Robert.
"Stephanie is a fantastic yoga teacher. I have been going to her classes throughout my entire pregnancy and for the first 6 months of my baby's life, and they have been a highlight of my experience as a new mum. I know that no matter what kind of week I am having, Stephanie's yoga class will be an hour that relaxes, refreshes and grounds me. She has a calming, warm and honest spirit that comes through her teaching, and she creates a friendly and fun atmosphere for practicing yoga. Stephanie's variety of body, breathing, and meditation techniques helped me build an incredible confidence in my body and mind, and spend some fun time bonding with my baby."
Abby and baby Sarah
"The classes are a fun activity for both me and my little Sofia and helps me feel like I have my body back after the hardship of pregnancy and labour!"
Vitalia and baby Sofia
